BY His Excellency Sir ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS by the tenth section of the Hotels Ordinance, 1949 (Ordinance No. 6 of 1949), it is provided that the asid Ordinance shall come into force on such day as the Governor shall notify by proclamation in the Gazette.
NOW THEREFORE 1, SIR ALEXANDER WILLIAM Geonos Herder GRANTHAM, do hereby PROCLAIM that the Ordinance shall come into force on the 8th day of March, 1949.
