An Ordinance to provide for matters arising in the Colony incidental to the provisions of the British Nationality Act, 1948.

Be it enacted by the Glovernor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the British Nationality short title. (Miscellaneous Provisions) Ördinuuce, 1949.

(1) Any person who for the purpose of procuring any offences. thing to be done or not to be done under the Act makes any 1 & 12 statement which be knows to be false in a material particular, or Geo. 6, recklessly makes any statement which is falso in a material <56, 1-28. particular, shall be liable on summary conviction in this Colony to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months.
(2) Any person who fails to comply with any requirement imposed by regulations made under the Act with respect to delivering up certificates of naturalisation shall be liable on summary conviction in this Colony to a fine not exceeding one thousand five hundred dollars,
