Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof:
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Companies Amend. Short title. ment Ordinance, 1949, and shall be read as one with the Companies Ordinance Ordinance, 1932, hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance. No. 3p al

2. Sub-section (2) of section 2 of the principal Ordinance Repeal of sub- is hereby repealed.
