An Ordinance further to amend the Education Ordinance, 1913.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Houg Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Education (Amend. Short title. ment) (No. 2) Ordinance, 1948, and shall be read as one with the Education Ordinance, 1913, bereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance Ordinance.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended-- Amandmen (a) by the substitution of the following for paragraph of the (d) thereof
(d) "Inspector" includes any officer appointed to bo au inspector of schools under section 4 and any officer authorised by the Director of Education to discharge the duty of inspector of schools;";
(6) by the addition of the following paragraph as paragraph (h) —–

"(AA) "Register of Teachers" means the Register of Teachers maintained by the Director of Education in
