Sub-section (1) of section 13 of the principal Ordinanco is hereby amended-

Sub-section (1) of section 14 of the principal Ordinated is horeby amended-

254. Notwithstanding section 6 of the Companies Ordinance, 1932, where by the memorandum association the registered office of
company is required to be situate in some particular part of the Colony it shall be lawful for the Company-

(a) until the 31st of December, 1948, to have its registered office in any part of the Colony; and
(b) by special resolution passed at any time before the 31st of December, 1948, to provide that the registered office shall be situate anywhere in the Colony and upon the passing of such special resolution the memorandum shall be deemed to be altered accordingly and it shall be unnecessary to make any application lo the Court.
