(6) Any person acting in contravention of the provisions of sub-section (5) of this section shall be liable upon conviction to the penalty prescribed by section 15 of this Ordinance.

(7) Upon the grant of a special licence in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (4) of this saction the banking business in respect of which any such person has been granted a special licence aboll be deemed to be a licensed bank to which all the provisions of this Ordinance relating to a licensed bank shall apply.

14. Whenever it appears to a mugistrate, upon the oath of any person, that there is reasonable cause to auspect that a contravention of this Ordingnge has been or is being committed in any building or place, such magistrate may by warrant directed to any police officer of or above the rank of sub-inspector empower him with such assistants as may be necessary, by day or night,

(a) to enter, and, if necessary, to break into auch building or place and to search for and detain any machinery, type, appliances, paper, printing materials, writing materials, hooks, documents, accounts, notices or writings which appear to ufford avidence of the commission of such contravention; and

(b) to arrest any person found in such building or place who may appear to be concerned with the commission of such contravention.

15. Any licensed bank, bank or person who contravenes or attempts to contravene any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall upon summary conviction be liable to imprisonment for any term not exceeding two years or to a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars or to both such penalties and shall upon conviction on indictment be liable to imprisonment for any term not exceeding five years or to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand dollars or to both such penalties,

An Ordinance to amend the Hong Kong War Memorial Fund

Ordinance, 1947.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong Wor Short tilla. Memorial Fund Amendment Ordinance, 1948, and shall be read

as one with the Hong Kong War Memorial Fund Ordinance, 1947, Ord. No. 10 hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance.

2. Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended Amendment as follows:-

(4) by the insertion in paragraph (a) of sub-section (1) principal and in sub-section (3) of the section of the words ** or dependent parent after the word "children", wherever auch word occurs iberein; and
