An Ordinance further to amend the Miscellaneous Licences

Ordinance, 1933.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Commucil thereof, as follows

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Miscellaneous Licences Amendment Ordinance, 1947, and shall be read as one with the Miscellaneous Licencca Ordinance, 1933, bereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended by the addition of the following paragraphs after paragraph (g) thereof :—

(0) Public bowling alley" means any place opened. kept or used for the purpose of playing the game of skittles to which the general public are admitted with or without payment for admission.

(D) "Public skating riuk' meaus any place opened. kapt or used for the purpose of skating to which the general public are admitted with or without payment for admission unless such place be a place of public entertainment licensed as such under the Places of Public Entertainment Regulation Ordinauer, 1919.

3. The First Schedule to the principal Ordinance is hereby amended by the addition at the end thereof of the following items-

"Public bowling-alley." **Public skating rink."*
