Governor.
WHEREAS provision was made by the Ordinances and Regulations of Hong Kong (1987 edition) Ordinance, 1986, Ordinance No. 61 of 1936, for the preparation of a new edition of the Ordinances and a new edition of the Regulations of the Colony:
AND WHEREAS the Third Volume of the said edition of the Regulations of the Colony is now completed and has been published:
AND WHEREAS it is provided in section 9 of the said Ordinance No. 61 of 1930 that the volumes of the Regulations of Hong Kong (1997 edition) shall be laid before the Legis- lative Council for approval as soon as conveniently may be after the printing of each volume and such approval, if given, shall be notified by proclamation of the Governor :
NOW, THEREFIGce, I, Sir G¤uzFRY ÅLEXANDEK STAFFORD NORTHCOTE, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby PROCLAIM that the suid Third Volume of the said edilion of the Regulations of the Colony was laid before the Legis- lative Council on the 24th day of April, 1941, and was approved by the said Council.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong this 24th day of April, 1941.
