An Ordinance to amend the Miscellaneous Licences Ordinance,

1983.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Houg Kong with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Miscellaneous short tuke. Liconces Amendment Ordinance, 1941.

2. Section 2 of the Miscellaneous Licences Ordinance, Amandund

of Ordinanes 1933, is amended by the addition of the following paragraph No. 25 of at the end thereof

(g) **Timber store" means any building, yard or other place used for the storage of timber other than timber in baulk.

For the purposes of this paragraph timber in baulk shall not include China fir poles,

3. Section 12 of the Miscellaneous Licences Ordinance, 1933, is repealed and the following section is substituted therefor-

12. The provisions of this Ordinance shall be in addition Savings. to and not in derogation of the provisions of any other enact- ment relating to or affecting any place, trade, business or occupation with respect to which this Ordinance applies.

4. The First Sobedule to the Miscellaneous Licences Amoodment Ordinance, 1933, is amended by the addition at the end thereof of Ordinanco of the words-

5. The Table in Part I of the Second Schedule of the Amendment Miscellaneous Licences Ordinance, 1933, is amended by the ordinance insertion therein, immediately after that portion of the said 1933, and Table which refers to Public Dance Halls," of the following Schedule
