PROCLAMATION,
OVERY
Governor.
WHEREAS provision was made by the Ordinances and Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 edition) Ordinance, 1986, Ordinance No. 51 of 1980, for the preparation of a new edition of the Ordinances and a new edition of the Regulations of the Colony :
AND WHEREAS the Second Volume of the said edition of the Regulations of the Colony is now completed and has been published:
AND WHEREAS it is provided in section 9 of the said Ordinance No. 61 of 1986 that the volumes of the Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 edition) shall be laid before the Legis- lative Council for approval as soon as conveniently may he after the printing of each volume und such approval, if given, shall be notified by proclamation of the Governor :
NOW THEREFORE I, Sir GEOFFRY ALEXANDER STAFFORD NORTHCOTE, Knight Commander of the Most Dis- tinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Second Volume of the said edition of the Regulations of the Colony was laid before the Legis- lative Council on the 14th day of September. 1939, and was approved by the said Council.
