WHEREAS it has pleased Almighty God to call to His mercy our late SOVEREIGN LORD KING GEORGE V of blessed and glorious memory, by whose decease the Imperial Crown of Great Britain, Ireland and all other His late Majesty's Dominions is solely and rightfully come to the Tigh and Mighty PRINCE EDWARD ALBERT CHRISTIAN GEORGE ANDREW PATRICK DAVID, We Sir Andrew Caldecott, Knight, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same :
