PROCLAMATION.

By His Excellency Sir WILLIAM PEE., Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice- Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS by section 9 of the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1934 (Ordinance No. 8 of 1934), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into force on such date as may be fixed by Proclamation of the Governor :
NOW I, the said Sir WILLIAM PEEL, do hereby proclaim that the said Ordinance shall come into force and operation on the First day of June, 1934.
