By His Excellency Sir WILLIAM PEEL,, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Comamnder of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS by the twenty-fifth section of the Merchant Shipping Amendment Ordinance, 1932, (Ordinance No. 23 of 1932) it is provided that the said Ordinance shall not come into operation unless and until the Governor notifies by Proclamation that it is His Majesty's pleasure not to disallow the same and that thereafter it shall come into operation upon auch day as the Governor shall notify by the same or any other Proclamation :
NOW I, the said Sir WILLIAM PEEL, do hereby notify and proclaim that it is His Majesty's pleasure ant to disallow the said Ordinance and that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 10th day of December, 1932.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong, this Ninth day of December, 1932.
