Governor.
By His Excellency Sir Chen Clementi, Kuight Commander of the Most Distin- guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Adurirul of the saine.
Wheress by the seventeenth section of the Female Domestic Service Ordinance, 1028, it is provided that Part III of the said Ordinance shall not come into operation until such date as may be fixed by proclamation of the Governor in Council :
Now I, Sir CsCIL CLEMENTI, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Depondencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony hereby fix the lat day of December, 1929, as the date on which Part III of the said Ordinance shall come into operation.
Given under my band and the Public Seal of the Colony at Victoria, Hong Kong, this 7th day of November, 1929.
