And Whereas the said period of three months will expire on the 3rd day of November 1918 Now therefore 1, CLA SEVERN, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, the Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, being of opinion that the necessity of His Majesty's forces in the Colony being subject to the said Act continues do hereby declare that by reason of the imminence of active service it is necessary for the public service that His Majesty's forces in this Colony be subject to the sail Act for the further period of three months from aud after the 3rd day of November 1918.
