And Whereas the said period of three months will expire on the 3rd day of August 1918 Now therefore 1 Sir Francis Hosny May, Knight Commander of the Most Dis- tinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same being of opinion that the necessity of Flis Majesty's forces in the Colony bding subject to the said Act continuos do hereby declare that by reason of the imminence of active service it is necessary for the public service that ilis Majesty's forces in this Colony be subject to the said Act for the further period of three mouths from and after the 3rd day of August 1918.
