By His Excellency Sir FREDERick Jons Practny brwand, Knight Communaler of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael al Saint George, Companion of the Most Howoumble Order of the Bath. Companion of the Distinguished Service Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice- Arbuiral of the sunc.
Winerens by the Military Stores (Prohibition of Exportation) Ordinaries, 1862. it is enacted that it should be lawffil for His Excellency thue finvernor, by and with the whvice of the Executive Council, by Proclamation to be publisher in the Hongkong Goverment Chuterte or in any Extraordinary Gazette, to prohibáit, for such period as should be mentiones [ in sur Proclamation, either to be exported fixon the Colony of Hongkong, or to be curriel constwise within the said Colony (amongst other things) Arms, Annamition, Gunpowder, and Military mad Naval Stores, and many articles which His Excellency muy judge empable of being converted into or made useful in ineressing the quantity of Military or Naval Stores, or say or either of such Armas, Amunition, Haapowder, Stores, Cloods or Articles respect- ively, subject to any permission that may be obtaided under Section 2 of the Ordinance:
And whereas, by various Proclamations issued from time to time, such exportation and caringe constwise were prohibited, and remain prohibited until the 27th day of May, 1908, and that it is expeslient to continue such prohibition:
Now, therefore, 1, Sir Fredemes fous Draurry Leuaun, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honmable Order of the But, Companion of the Distinguished Service Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of this Colony, do, by this Procluuntion, prohibit for a further period of one year from and including the 28th day of May, 1908, wither to be exported from the Colony of Hongkong, or to be carried cestwise within the said Colony, Aerus, Aummition. Humpowder," and "Military and Naval Stores, mal any articles which" 1 may judge capable of being converted into or muda useful in increasing the quantity of Military or Naval Prores, de may or either of such Arts, Anmamition, Gunpowder, Stores, Goods or Articles respectively, unless this Proclamation shall, in the mesuitime, be revoked, or miless permission shall have bem obtained under Section 8 of the tulinance above mentioned.
