By His Excellency FRANCIS HENRY Mar. Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer Administering the Government of Hongkong and its Dependencies,
Whorens, by Regulation No. 1 of the Quarantine Regulations muule by the Governor in Council on the 17th day of June, 1901, under section 23 of Ordinance No. 10 of 1899, it is provided that the term “port or place at which any infections or contagious disense prevailed mess a part or place proclaimed to be sucli by" Ordlar of the Governor in Conneil, publishel in the Gazette, from the date suel Proclamation ;
Aud whereas the said Quarantine Regulations were duly notified to take affect as fram the 20th day of June, 1901;
And whereas His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government in Council has ordered that Bangkok should be proclaimed as a port or place at which an infectious or con- tagious disense prevails;
Now, therefore, 1, FRANCE HESHY MAY, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Offices Administering the Government of Hongkon and its Dependencies, do hereby, with the advice of the Executive Council, proclatui that Bangkok is a port or place at which an infectious or contagious disense prevails.
