Governor.
By His Excellency Sie Marenew Nareas, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael aul Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and ita Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the sauIC,
Whereas by Section 1 Sub-section 2 of Ordinance No. 8 of 1995, entitled The New Territories Land Ordinance, 1905" it is enacted as follows ;---

·This Ordinance shall come into operation of such by as shall hereafter be fixed by Pro-
clamation under the land of the Governor,”
Now therefore I the said Sir Martuew Narnas do by virtue of the Authority in me vested, hereby under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony proclaim that the said Ordinance stunli come into operation ou and from the 1st day of August, 1905.
