subject to the provisions of the sail sections 5 and 22 of the said Ordinance and to have the previous consent of the said Governor thereto the said Governor on the 18th day of February, 1890, in writing did signify his cousent to the proposed creation of additional capital of the said Corporation in accord- ance with the Deed of Settlement thereof and subject to the provisions of the suid Ordinance.

And whereas it having been represented to me that pursuant to the said consent a further capital of Two millions and five hundred thousand Dollars divided into shares of One hundred and twenty-five Dollars each has been created and fully paid up.

Now, therefore, I, in pursuance of section 5 of the said Ordinance, do hereby proclaim that the said further capital of Two millions and five hundred thousand Dollars has been raised and fully paid up and that the said sum of Five millions of Dollars together with the said further sums of Two millions and five bundred thousand Dollars and Two millions and five hundred thousand Dollars making in all a total of Ten millions of Dollars shall be taken to be the Fixed Capital of the said Bank,
