PROCLAMATION.
Gorernor.
By His Excellency Sir WILLIAM ROBINSON, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same.
Whereas by section 26 of Ordinance 16 of 1846, entitled An Ordinance to amend and consolidate the law relating to the registration of Bigths und Deuths, it is enacted as follows:-
"This Ordinanca shall come into force ou such day as shall be hereafter fixed by proclamation under the band of the Governor."
Now, therefore, 1, the said Sir WILLIAM ROBINSOx, in pursuance of the said section and by virtue of the authority in me vested, do hereby under my hand proclaim that the said Ordinance shall come into force on and from the 14th day of September, 1896.
