REPORT BY THE PRINCIPAL, TECHNICAL & TRADE SCHOOLS.
G. White,
1. Junior Technical School.-Principal, Mr. B.Sc., A.M.I.Mech.E. The maximum enrolment was 126. Average attendance 111 (the same as last year).
2. The school continues to supply a class of superior apprentices to various engineering concerns. Of the thirty-two students who left with certificates in 1935, twenty-two have continued their education at Classes in the Evening Institute.
3. The Laboratory has been further equipped with apparatus for experiments on Mechanics and Heat Engines.
4. The Sports Field has been improved and equipped for Basket Ball, Football and Volley Ball.
5. Trade School.- Principal, Mr. G. White, B.Sc., A.M.I.Mech.E.
6. The building was completed in August 1936. During the year the first instalment of machine and hand tools for the teaching of Building and Engineering arrived from England.
7. Mr. F. Buckle was appointed Chief Instructor in Engineering, and Mr. N. J. Bebbington was appointed Instructor in Building.
8. It is intended to open the Wireless and Building departments early in 1937.
