Two buildings, each of three floors covering an area of about 50 x 30 ft. (used as shops and dwellings) and contents severely damaged by fire, heat, smoke and water, and collapse of part of roof of No. 31 (adjoining and communicating).

Of the premises involved in 158 actual fires which occurred, 42 were insured and 116 were not insured.
