(d.) Stanley:-The supply was subjected to restrictions similar to those in force in the City of Victoria, a constant supply being maintained for 124 days during the year.
The total quantity of unfiltered water supplied during the year amounted to 14.37 million gallons equivalent to an average consumption of 39,000 gallons per day. Details are given in Table VIII.
There were eight fire hydrants in use at the end of the year.
A scheme to supply filtered water to the Stanley District was prepared in view of the erection of the new gaol and other developments in the district.
(e.) Deep Water Bay R.B.L.245:-A constant supply was maintained throughout the year. The total quantity of unfiltered water supplied was 2.13 million gallons, equivalent to an average daily consumption of 5,800 gallons. Details are given in Table VIII.

Water Meters: The number of meters examined and repaired was 5,209. Nineteen meters were tested in accordance with Regulation 9 of the Water Works Regulations.
