The reconstruction of the Aberdeen Lower Level Dam was completed in September, but unfortunately the dry season had by then set in and it was only possible to impound about ten million gallons.
The adoption of Universal Meterage is referred to under Water Account (Meters) in Paragraph 56.
The total quantity of water stored in the impounding reservoirs on 1st January amounted to 1613.53 million gallons, of which 492.42 million gallons were in the gravitation reservoirs and 1121.11 million gallons in the low-level reservoirs requiring pumping. Storage reached a minimum on the 2nd June when the total was 510.16 million gallons, 174.54 million gallons being in the gravitation reservoirs.
