Oct. 27 17.25 60 & 58 Woosung Street, Private. Yaumati. Nov. 8 03.46 42 Pottinger Street, Victoria. Carpenter's shop and dwellings, K 36 Damage. A building of 4 floors about 60 x 20 ft. (used as shop, store, offices and dwellings); two upper floors and contents severely damaged by fire and roof off, floor and contents under damaged by water. A building of 4 floors about 50 x 14 ft. (used as shop, store and dwelling); two upper floors and contents severely damaged by fire, heat, smoke and water; floors and contents under damaged by water and dirt. Six males and seven females burned to death. Four females severely injured by jumping into street. (Three since dead). Two buildings each of 4 floors, covering an area of about 50 x 30 ft.; two upper floors and contents severely damaged by fire and water; floor and contents under damaged by water and dirt. (Adjoining and communicating). A building of 4 floors about 45 x 15 ft. (used as carpenter's shop, store and dwelling) gutted and roof off. Two males and four females burned to death. Two males severely injured (since dead).
