11. Contour surveys as detailed below were made and plotted.

A survey was made of Tytam Reservoir and Bywash, area about 44 acres. Tytam Intermediate Reservoir with an area of about 20.5 acres was also surveyed. The traverses for these surveys had a total length of 6,700 feet and the closing errors were well within the limit laid down. The areas were plotted to a scale of 1:600 on Colony Sheets.
The Surveys of Pokfulam Dairy Farm lots Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 containing 247 acres of agricultural land and 3.4 acres of building land were revised and brought up to date and lease plans were prepared and forwarded.
This survey was afterwards reduced to a scale of 1:2400.
*This hill is being demolished and a bi-annual survey is made to show the amount of work done. The 60 foot contour being defined by a tar line.
The whole of these surveys were carried out by tacheometrical methods after the areas had been traversed in the usual manner, the traverses having their origins from either main or subsidiary traverses in the vicinity. The level values were obtained from Bench Marks or calculated heights triangulation stations with the exception of the area at Cape D'Aguilar the levels for which were obtained from an assumed datum.
