TRIGONOMETRICAL SURVEYS.

8. Tertiary triangulation for values of beacons at Tai Lam Chung, Sum Tseng and Tsin Wan was carried out for the purpose of checking the values of seven traverse stations on the Kowloon-Castle Peak Road. The values of these stations were corrected and adjusted accordingly.

9. Concrete beacons were erected over the three stations mentioned above and the beacons at Beacon Hill and Diamond Hill which had been destroyed were re-built. The annual inspection of triangulation stations was carried out and repairs were made to beacons where necessary. The frontier Boundary was perambulated during the year and the Boundary Stones repaired where found necessary.
