Four prisoners were released on Medical grounds.
There were 13 deaths from natural causes, 11 of which took place in the Gaol Hospital, one at the Government Civil Hospital and one at Lai Chi Kok.
The causes of death were as follows:
Pulmonary Tuberculosis 9 Cerebral Haemorrhage 1 Bacillary Dysentery 1 Pneumonia 1 General Peritonitis 1 Total 13There were two executions.
