LICENCES

During the year the Radio Office issued wireless licences as follows:--

Ship Station 2 Amateur transmission 4 Broadcast Receiving 724 Dealer's Licences 44

PROSECUTIONS UNDER THE W/T REGULATIONS.

Two holders of Dealer's Licences were prosecuted for selling wireless apparatus without demanding production of a valid receiving licence from the purchaser, and one dealer was prosecuted for selling wireless apparatus without a Dealer's licence. Convictions were obtained in all cases.

WIRELESS SCHOOL.

The School was opened on June 4th with 31 students, of whom 5 passed the examination before December 31st, 1 failed to pass the examination, 8 left without completing the course, and 17 were not ready for examination.
