The second section of the road was completed by the end of June. Extra work was also undertaken in respect of the construction of the approach path to the Shataukok Police Station.

(e.) New Bridge at Taipo and Road Diversion to replace the Bridge washed away in 1925.—A contract for the embankment and approach road was let to Messrs. Chung Lee & Co. for a sum of $11,368.50 on the 5th November.
The work progressed slowly, and owing to the difficulty in obtaining filling, little work had been done by the end of the year.

169. Training Nullahs:-
General Works.-Nullah training at Taipo from a point near the P.W.D. Bungalow was extended to the foreshore. Other minor channels were also laid.
