Mention ought to be made of the excellent and willing work done by both Old Boys and Present Pupils of this School during the months of June to September. A Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade under Mr. Arculli, consisting of Past and Present Pupils of the School, performed gratuitous and most necessary service to the community, while others worked in the offices of the Tramway Company, the Asiatic Petroleum Company, the P. & O. Banking Corporation and the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank.

Gap Road School.-The Maximum Enrolment was 149 (150 in 1924).

The Average Attendance was 124 (141 in 1924).

Very satisfactory results have been obtained throughout the year. 97% passed the Annual Examination.

Discipline is very good.

The School Garden has proved very successful.

Belilios Public School.-The Maximum Enrolment was 560 (559 in 1924).

The Average Attendance was 458 (507 in 1924).

At the Annual Examination satisfactory results were obtained. In the Upper School 64 were promoted out of 79 examined and in the Lower School 213 were promoted out of 284 examined. At the December University Matriculation Examination 7 candidates were presented; of these 1 matriculated, 5 were awarded Senior Local Certificates and 2 Distinctions in Needlework were gained. At the Junior Local Examination 15 candidates were presented and 7 passed with 2 Distinctions in Needlework.

The pupils of this School continue to subscribe liberally to various charities.

OUTLYING DISTRICT SCHOOLS.

Taipo School.-The Maximum Enrolment was 110 (159 in 1924).

The Average Attendance was 73 (125 in 1924).

The tone of the school continues to be excellent; the pupils are steady and hardworking, and are progressing satisfactorily in their studies.

In April Mr. Mould, the Head Master, was obliged to leave on account of ill-health. The school had developed greatly under him. Since his departure Mr. Fung So has acted successfully as Headmaster.
