At the final examination in December, 8 candidates sat and all passed. It is evident that this school holds promise of successful development.

The Technical Institute designed to supply instruction in various subjects for those desiring the opportunity of evening study, was well attended. Details are given in Table IX.
G.-HANDICRAFTS.
Carpentry classes have continued throughout the year at the Central British School.
Cookery is taught at the Central British School and at the Belilios Public School.
Needlework is taught at the British Schools and at the Belilios Public School.
3. BOARD OF EDUCATION.
The Board met twelve times during the year.
Mr. A. F. B. Silva Netto resigned on November 25, 1924. Chev. J. M. Alves was appointed on January 23.
Mr. U. Rumjahn resigned on July 7.
Mr. A. el Arculli was appointed on July 8.
Mr. E. F. Aucott and Capt. Watts resigned on December 28.
4. BOARD OF EXAMINERS.
The Board met 23 times and held 12 examinations of Hongkong Cadets and police probationers, 26 Examinations of interpreters, 22 Examinations for Subordinate officers under G. O. 115, and 3 Examinations for officers studying for bonus under G. O. 120. In addition to these an Inspector of Vernacular Schools attended the Examinations of police officers at the Police Headquarters every Tuesday afternoon.
5. HEALTH.
On 1st August, Mrs. Minett, M.D., B.S., D.Ph., was appointed Medical Officer for Schools.
