DIPHTHERIA.
The number of cases of this disease notified during the year 1925 was 85 of which 59 were Chinese.
Two of the Chinese cases came from the New Territory and two Non-Chinese cases were imported leaving 57 Chinese and 24 Non-Chinese of local origin.
The disease was as usual more prevalent during the dry season than in the rainy season.
The following table shows the monthly incidence of Diphtheria for the last ten years.
