A range of buildings of four floors, covering an area of about 70 x 50 ft. (used as shops, restaurant and dwellings) and contents severely damaged by fire, heat, smoke, water and breakage and roofs off.
Two males :-names and ages unknown rescued from second floor, of No. 55 by fire escape.
Four males, viz. Wong Kwai aged 29 years, Kwan Fat aged 27 years, Ng On aged 14 years, Chau Kwang aged 4 years and Five females viz., Wan Shi aged 49 years, Pui Leung aged 44 years, Li Mei Kui aged 37 years, Kwan Shi aged 30 years and Ng Po Lim aged 10 years burned to death.
A passenger and cargo vessel of about 10,000 tons gross, No. 3 hold and contents (jute) damaged by fire and flooded. No. 2 hold and contents by heat and water.
A building of three floors, about 40 × 20 ft. (used as work-rooms, store and dwelling) and contents severely damaged by fire and roof off.
One male named Wong Fat aged 18 years burned to death.
Assistant Station Officer P. Condon, H.K.F.B. cut on right hand.
Two buildings of three floors, covering an area about 45 × 30 ft. (used as rattan godown and dwelling) and contents severely damaged by fire and gutted.
One Male and two females viz., Leung Yun Kiu aged 10 years; Wong Mi Yung aged 42 years; Leung Yuet Ying aged 13 years (all from No. 16) recovered from debris, following morning. Volunteer Firemen R. H. Brooks slight injury to back by collapse of building.
Two buildings, each of four floors, covering an area of about 50 x 35 ft. (used as godowns and dwellings) and contents severely damaged by fire and collapse of floors and roofs.
One Female named Kee Mui aged 8 years suffering from shock and slight burns on face taken to Hospital.
