(18) Tuition ceased from 22 June to 31 July. During this period recruits were used as "Escort for Labour" under S.I. Booker; Ag-Inspector Clark performed duty as Charge Room Inspector at Central Station; and S.I. McLellan took charge of the Upper Levels District. Northern Chinese Teacher Wong Kin Shan and P.S.D. 55 were temporarily returned to regular duty; and "C" Contingent Teachers Pun Yau Tong and Yeung Shui Nung were attached for duty to the Special Constables Bureau.
