9.—NAVAL AND MILITARY LANDS.

There were no dealings with land belonging to the Admiralty during the year. Pinewood Battery and High West Reserve and the Sanitarium and Reserve at Magazine Gap were transferred to the Colonial Government by the War Department and Memoranda giving effect to these transactions were prepared and recorded in the Land Office.

10. STAFF.

Mr. Lai Ping Kwan Vth Grade Clerk left the service at the end of April and Mr. F. Danenburg VIB Grade Clerk left at the end of May. Messrs. Un Shiu Ming VIA Grade Clerk, Tang Kai Wing and Chan Sik Ping VIB Grade Clerks joined the staff in May, June, and September respectively.
