180. Miscellaneous Drainage Works :-
(a). Extending existing outfall from below Wanchai Gap to the sea at a point near Aberdeen.—This work, referred to in paragraph 122 (a) of last year's Report, was completed at the end of the year.

(b). Laying sewer in connection with Conduit and Hatton Roads Development Scheme. This work, referred to in paragraph 122 (b) of last year's Report, was not proceeded with during the year; there was consequently no expenditure under this heading.
(c). Shaukiwan Road.-- Laying drain in connection with North Point Foreshore Development. This work referred to in paragraph 122 (d) of last year's Report was continued.

(d). General Works.-Owing to receipt of unsatisfactory tenders, most of the 6" & 9″ sewers, &c. were laid departmentally, the larger works being let by contract. The following are the most important stormwater drains and sewers which were laid during the year :-
