Two hundred and two Gambling Warrants were successfully executed during the year as against 120 in 1922. There were seven cases in which no convictions were obtained.
There were seventy-four Lottery cases, compared with 14 in 1922.
PROPERTY REPORTED STOLEN AND PROPERTY RECOVERED. The estimated value of property stolen during the year was $657,671.44 as against $882,674 in 1922, a decrease of $225,003.04 or 25.4%.
The average for the last five years is $565,032.81 as against $492,558.91 in the previous five years, an increase of $72,473.90.
