Note: The Drill Instructors (European, Indian and Chinese) do not form part of the permanent staff of the School. They are regular duty men and receive extra pay for their services.

There were no dismissals. Eight Chinese Recruits, who were found to be unsuitable, were allowed to resign during their probationary period. Four Chinese Recruits resigned voluntarily.
