The gross amount of Revenue collected on Duties on Tobacco during 1918 was as follows:-
Manufacturers' Licences, $ 960.00 Importers' Licences, 724.00 Retailers' Licences, 7,516.03 Licensed Warehouse Licences, 1,675.00 Duties on Tobacco, 534,276.40 Total, $ 545,151.40The Refund of Duties on Tobacco in the year 1918 amounted to $291.08. The total net Revenue collected from Tobacco Duties during the year 1918 was therefore $544,860.32 as against $499,871.71 during the previous year.
