8.-Marine Court.
(Under Section 19 of Ordinance 10 of 1899.)
22. During the year 1918 there were two courts held, viz. :— (1.) On the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 30th January, 1918, to enquire into the circumstances of misconduct and disobedience of lawful orders on the part of Mr. N. G. Majer, Chief Officer of the British Steamship Manapouri.
(2.) On the 13th June, 1918, to enquire into the stranding of the British Steamship Tjitaroem.
9. Examination of Masters, Mates, and Engineers.
