28. Certificates.-The following certificates for new buildings were issued :—
74 for 314 domestic buildings under Section 204 of Ordinance 1 of 1903.
45 for 50 non-domestic buildings.
These figures show a decrease of 14 in the number of domestic buildings as compared with 1915. The number of non-domestic buildings was the same in both years.
29. Notices and Permits.-The following is a tabulated statement of the notices served and permits issued during the year, the figures for 1915 being given in a parallel column for purposes of comparison:
