116. Miscellaneous Works.-The following are the principal items of expenditure under this heading, representing in some cases only a part of the cost of the works in consequence of their extending over more than one year :-

Government Offices (Colonial Secretariat and P.W.D.) :-

Providing additional accommodation for the Buildings Ordinance branch of the Public Works Department, comprising 2 rooms 24' 11" x 18' 0"; 1 room 15′ 6′′ × 9′ 4′′ and a lavatory, fitted up with electric fans, lights, bells and telephones, $6,912

Providing electric fans and lights to various other offices and installing one Government telephone, $551.48

Alterations to Accountant's Office, $7,511

Old Harbour Office :-

Providing stabling accommodation for the Sanitary Department and fitting up a Branch Post Office on ground floor, $2,679

Alterations to first floor to provide quarters for Postmen and Sanitary Department Staff, $2,534
