Acknowledgments.-Acknowledgments are here made to the Directors of Weather Services in the Far East, and the Chinese Maritime Customs authorities for daily observations and extra observations during typhoon weather; to the Telegraph Companies, for transmitting the observations free of charge; to the officers of the Company at Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, and Malate for making and transmitting observations twice daily; to the commanders of vessels who have furnished meteorological observations, and the Observatory staff for the manner in which they have carried out their respective duties.
