The revenue collected in 1923 from radio-telegrams amounted to $46,113.24 being $14,060.25 more than that collected in 1922. Advices of vessels signalled at the lighthouses yielded $662.20, and semaphore messages $4.50, making a total of $46,779.94 for the telegraph service. The expenditure amounted to $44,599.23. The number of radio-telegrams forwarded during the year was 3,460 consisting of 40,240 words, and 8,066 received consisting of 98,284 words.
