Medical. It has been considered advisable
to add $1150 to the estimate
for Provisions, Fuel - and Lighting - the Vote for the furnishing gear having been found insufficient. The pay of the Chinese Cook has also been increased by $48
and another coolie has been
added to the establishment at
a cost of $96 per annum.
Police. The increase of
$4000 is caused
by the payment of gratuities to time-expired men.
Gasl. The additions made to the
Salaries of the Trunk Relay Guards have been voted very willingly by the Legislature, as the duties
