wigo. A total of 18 years has lapsed since 1980. When it was first completed, it was probably a novel and modernized building, but many years have passed since then. Now that the Museum is inviting tenders. I would like to know what the improvement items are. May I ask the Chairman of the Select Committee whether he could advise Members on the specific details, such as when the repair works will be carried out and how long the works will expect to take? What is the cost and has any financial provision been made? Would the Chairman of the Select Committee please answer these questions?
MR. MOK YING-FAN (in Cantonese):—There are altogether four follow-up questions. About the first question of the ratio between the showing of omnimax films and the use of the Museum as a planetarium, I don't have the specific information now. I will ask the Department to forward the information to Ms. Au after the meeting.
In fact, the answers for three of the four follow-up questions raised by Ms. AU cannot be provided until after the meeting. About the second follow-up question asking whether the Department has received any complaints, no information is provided by the Department in the written reply and therefore, the answer can only be given to Ms. AU after the meeting.
The last follow-up question is about the specific details concerning the Space Museum's invitation for tenders through the Architectural Services Department. As the exercise is still under way, specific details requested for by Ms. Au, such as those of the tenders, have not yet been confirmed. I will forward the above three follow-up questions to the Department for action and provision of the information to Ms. Au.
As for the installation of complaint facilities in the Space Museum, as far as I know, suggestion boxes are provided. Nevertheless, we will follow up on this as well. If there are no such facilities, I think we can ask the Department to provide a suggestion box in the Space Museum so that members of the public who wish to put forth any views after enjoying the programmes may put in their suggestions, which will let us know more about the views of the public and visitors.
MR. JOSEPH LAI CHI-KEONG (in Cantonese):—Mr. Chairman. I have some doubts about part three of the written reply. It is stated that comprehensive sterilization and repairs of the seats are carried out once every year. The frequency seems to be too low. It is also mentioned in the written reply that replacement of all headrest caps and sterilization and cleaning of all headphone cushions are conducted once a month. There are twelve months a year. Does this schedule apply to summer as well as winter? As everyone is aware, in summer the temperature may rise to 33° Celsius or more and the audience are mostly children. Although the Museum is air-conditioned, when the audience enter the venue they may be sweating. I would like to ask the Chairman of the Select Committee why there has been no change in the cleaning schedule. Has the
