(b) Would the Council take heed of numerous parents' demand, to set aside a period of time specially for children aged 4 or below to use the activities rooms under their parents' guidance?
(c) Would the Council take heed of numerous parents' demand, to design some activities rooms suitable for use by children aged 4 or below when planning new ones?
(d) As regards (b) and (c) above, would the Department work out interim solutions and a timetable for implementing long-term solutions, and also submit papers on this matter to the Recreation Select Committee for discussion?'
Mr. RONNIE WONG MAN-CHIU, CHAIRMAN OF THE RECREATION SELECT COMMITTEE, replied as follows (in Cantonese): Mr. WONG's question is in 4 parts. The first part asks the number and distribution of the Council's indoor children activities rooms as well as the determination of age restriction on users.
At present, the Urban Council has 11 children play rooms and 1 children activity room. Their distribution is as follows:
