LP gas stoves as of high fire hazards. The ratio of building floor area to the number of hotpot shops should be redefined.
Inspections for illegal obstruction of fire exits and occupation of public space by hotpot shops should be stepped up, especially during the winter season. Penalties should be reviewed for a better deterrent effect.
In view of the recent disastrous fires, we have now become very sensitive and we are more alerted to fire hazards. I think we should close the loophole in respect of fire prevention facilities at hotpot shops. Prevention is better than correction.
